Coatings
ARGES offers high reflective coatings for various commercial laser wavelengths capable of handling notable high power densities of pulsed and CW beams.
Flatness and Quality
The advanced coating technology of ARGES mirrors ensures a typical flatness of λ/8 measured at 633 nm over the whole usable area. The scratch/dig values of 20/10 and better ensure highest damage thresholds on the high power coatings for pulsed laser beams.
CO2 Laser Coating
10600 nm
Many established industrial applications are using CO2 lasers. High quality gold coatings on stiff silicon subtrates provide the best solution for most infrared scanning applications regarding flatness, reflectivity and dynamic performance of the scan system.
The broadband metallic coating supports the most commonly used pointing devices such as red laser diodes and HeNe lasers. Upon request for ultra high speed scan systems Beryllium subtrates are available. Optionally we offer hard dielectric coatings.
VIS Broadband Coating
400 to 1200 nm
Enhanced metallic silver is a standard coating for mirrors with broadband reflectivity. It is very well suited for applications with medium power 1064 and 532 nm Nd:YAG lasers and for all vision applications. In comparison with wavelength specific dielectric coatings the reflectivity is sligthly lower. However it is not recommended for high power pulsed beams.
Nd:YAG Laser Coatings
All our coatings for Nd:YAG lasers are ion plated. Thus they are less hygroscopic than normal coatings maintaining a high optical quality over years.
1064 and 630 to 670 nm
The hard dielectric coating is recommended as a standard coating for all CW and pulsed high power Nd:YAG lasers. Compared to other dielectric coatings it exhibits maximized broadband reflectivity permitting wide scan angles and common pointing devices. This coating provides a secondary reflectivity band at 630 to 670 nm for HeNe pointers.

For frequency doubled, tripled or quadrupled Nd:YAG lasers ARGES offers high quality mirror coatings best suited for the individual wavelength of the laser. Minimum reflection loss, high damage thresholds and perfect flatness are common properties of these mirrors.
1064, 532 and 355 nm
For fundamental, frequency doubled and tripled Nd:YAG lasers ARGES offers a triple coating allowing flexible designs.
Diode Laser Coatings
808 nm
808, 940 and 980 nm
ARGES offers a 808 nm coating for high power applications and a triple coating for ultra high power application.
Ultra Short Pulse Laser Coating
800 nm
For ultra short pulses in the range of fs ARGES offers this special coating.
Excimer Laser Coatings
308 nm
248 nm

For Excimer lasers ARGES offers high quality mirror coatings best suited for the individual wavelength of the laser. Minimum reflection loss, high damage thresholds and perfect flatness are common properties of these mirrors.
